Description
Do you play an instrument, sing, or write songs? At Levine, you can experience what it’s like to work together in a professional-style rock band in this 8-week rock ‘n roll experience. Open to all levels of musicians who enjoy all forms of popular music, you’ll be matched with other musicians in a relaxed group coaching session. We?ll talk about ensemble skills, song selection, chart reading, improvisation, songwriting, and performance skills in bands that can include guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals. Other instruments are also welcome! Each session meets for 7 weeks, culminating in a live performance on the 8th week. Amplifiers, drum set, and keyboards are provided. Please note: Students should have at least one year of experience playing their instrument. Students should bring instruments, cables, staff paper, pencils, and a willingness to explore new music.
